Add your map

Accepted: the iframe from Google Maps → Share → Embed a map, or its /maps/embed?pb= link.

How do I get the embed code?
  1. Open Google Maps on a computer and search for your business.
  2. Click your business, then Share.
  3. Choose the Embed a map tab and click Copy HTML.
  4. Paste it here. The tool keeps Google’s map and rewrites the rest.

Short share links (maps.app.goo.gl) only open Google Maps. They can’t be embedded on a website.

Your embed code

Paste your Google Maps embed code or enter an address, and your responsive code will appear here.

Runs in your browser. No API key, account or upload. Only the map preview contacts Google.

How to use Google Maps Embed Generator

  1. Copy your map. In Google Maps on a computer, open your business, click Share, choose Embed a map and click Copy HTML. Or switch to the address tab and type your business name and address.
  2. Paste it into the tool. The code is created straight away. Your place name is used for the map title automatically.
  3. Choose the size. Pick a fixed height or keep proportions, choose rounded corners and leave lazy loading on for a faster page.
  4. Preview and copy. Load the preview to check the pin, then copy the code into an Elementor HTML widget or a WordPress Custom HTML block. Check the page on your phone.

Why put a Google map on your website?

A map on your contact or branch page shows visitors exactly where you are and lets them open directions in one tap. It also reassures people that you are a real business with a real location, which matters when someone is deciding whether to call you or a competitor.

Google Maps gives you free embed code under Share → Embed a map, but that code has a fixed 600 pixel width, no useful title and no lazy loading. On a phone it can overflow the screen, and it slows down every page it sits on. This tool keeps Google’s map and rewrites the rest so it fits any screen and loads only when it is needed.

What this generator changes

  • Full width on every screen. The map stretches to fill its column instead of sticking out on mobile.
  • Your choice of height or shape. Use a fixed height, or keep proportions such as 16:9 or square so the map scales with the screen.
  • An accessible title. Screen readers announce the iframe title, so “Map of Bahawalnagar Dental Care” is far more helpful than nothing at all.
  • Lazy loading. The map loads when visitors scroll to it, which keeps the rest of the page fast.
  • Clean code. Only Google’s map data is kept. Anything else pasted in with it is dropped.

Embed code or address: which should you use?

The embed code from Google Maps points to your exact listing, so it is the best choice when your business has a Google Business Profile. The address option is a quick fallback: it shows Google’s best match for the name and address you type, which is handy for a new branch or an event venue. Always load the preview and check the pin is in the right place.

If you run a service-area business from home, think twice before showing your private address. A map should help customers, so only publish a location they can actually visit, and describe the areas you cover in words instead.

Google Maps Embed Generator: FAQs

Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to this website. Only the optional map preview loads the map from Google.
No. The tool uses the free embed that Google Maps gives you under Share → Embed a map, which works without an API key or billing account. Links from the paid Maps Embed API (maps/embed/v1) are not used.
Short share links only open the Google Maps app or website. Google does not allow them inside an iframe. Use Share → Embed a map → Copy HTML instead, or build the map from your business address in the second tab.
A map is one of the heavier things you can put on a page. Leave lazy loading switched on so the map only loads when visitors scroll to it, and avoid placing it in the first screen of the page unless it really belongs there.
A map on its own is not a ranking trick. It helps visitors find you and confirms your location, which supports trust and conversions. Accurate name, address and phone details, a complete Business Profile and useful location pages matter far more.
