What a Local SEO audit should cover
Local SEO is about being the obvious choice when someone nearby searches for what you do. That depends on a handful of basics working together: accurate business details, a complete Google Business Profile, a website that answers questions and makes it easy to get in touch, genuine reviews, and consistent listings across the web.
Not every business needs the same checks. A clinic with a waiting room, a plumber who visits homes and a company with five branches all have different priorities. This generator builds a checklist from how your business actually works, and puts the area that matters most to you first.
How to use the checklist
- Start with the tagged section. It matches the priority you chose, so the first fixes have the most effect on what you care about.
- Fix real problems before big projects. An old phone number, a broken contact form or a missing service page is worth more than a new blog.
- Tick tasks only once they are done and checked. A correction you have requested isn’t finished until you’ve seen it live.
- Download the CSV to share it. It has empty Owner and Notes columns, ready for your team or your web person.
What this tool doesn’t do
It doesn’t visit your website, read your Business Profile or give you a score. Tools that promise an instant “Local SEO score” are guessing from a few signals. A checklist you work through yourself, with evidence of each change, is a more honest way to see where you stand and what to do next.
